World Nursery Rhyme Week is taking place 13th-17th November, and we are delighted to confirm we will be taking part. The initiative, launched in 2013, promotes the importance of nursery rhymes in early childhood development and education with a particular focus on how nursery rhymes boost early language and literacy skills.
Our ‘Rhyme a Day’ challenge will focus on each rhyme in the following order:
Monday 13th November: Jack and Jill Tuesday 14th November: Hickory Dickory Dock Wednesday 15th November: Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes Thursday 16th November: Row, Row, Row Your Boat Friday 17th November: The Wheels On The Bus
