Meet The Founder
Hi, my name is Taja (Tar-jah), and I can’t wait for you to join the Empower Arts family!
I am a qualified Theatre Practitioner and professional Actress with a BA in Theatre Arts from Middlesex University. I also trained at the award-winning Identity School of Acting and MN Academy, specialising in screen acting.
Over the years, I have performed in award-winning productions on both stage and screen. But my journey in the arts started as a shy child who found her confidence through drama classes. That experience shaped my passion for helping young people develop self-expression, creativity, and confidence through the power of drama.
Founded in 2022, Empower Arts is about more than just acting. It’s about giving young people a platform to collaborate, have fun, and build confidence—whether they dream of the stage or simply want to develop skills that will help them in everyday life.
I hold an Enhanced DBS check, Safeguarding Training, Public Liability Insurance, First Aid Training, Challenging Behaviour Level 2, and Level 2 Counselling Skills, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all our students.
